Pre-Order & Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Waight! Here you’ll find the terms and conditions concerning our Pre-Order model and Shipping.

Why we operate on a pre-order model:

The goal of pre-order is to minimize waste and create an equilibrium between supply and demand. In order to do this, customers place an order for an item that has not yet been produced. We accept pre-orders during the time span of a few months; garments are manufactured after this window, and then the product is shipped to customers. After production is finished all orders will be processed within 2-3 business days. When you commit to purchasing a garment through pre-order, it supports a sustainable and ethical production process:

  • Fewer garments end up in landfills

  • Customers and brands' needs and values are aligned

  • Re-enforces the idea that clothes are valuable rather than disposable

  • Products are made to be season-less

  • Slows the fashion cycle and helps customers to purchase only what they are truly interested in
